Default reset oil change register

when one changes ones own oil, do you reset some counter? or does the "brain" sense new oil and new condition?

if a manual reset is required, how does one do it?

thanks

With the engine running, use the "gages" display button to bring up the % oil life left display on the DIC. Press and hold the RESET button until it reverts to 100%. That's all it takes.

Does the "pushing the accelerator 3 times with key on, motor off " method still work in the C6 as it did in the C5?
