interior lights not going off

Isn't that little switch by your left knee suppose to dim your speedo and tach?
basically illuminate the whole dash from light to bright? It will shut off the lights you might have to push it and turn it.

No, pushing it and turning it accomplish 2 different things. Pushing it in and releasing it just turn on or turn off the interior lights. Turning it (only) dims or brightens the dash lights.

I tried it again and this switch only controls the interior lights & map lights.
Isn't there a way to control how dim or bright you want your dashboard gauges, speedometer and tach? I also read this in the manual but it is not working.

Only push the switch in if you want to turn on or turn off the map lights on the bottom of the mirror.
