I am looking for non run flats, 285/35/19 rears are tough to find. Does anyone have any information on avialability? Anyone purchased any tp sensors yet? My local dealer has no part # for them.
I just installed a set of Goodrich KDW tires, in the OE sizes. So far, I am satisfied with the handling, but have not had them on the track yet. They are noisier than the GY Supercar runflats, and I expect with wear they will get even worse. No advice on the TPMs. My plan is to transfer them to a set of all 18" wheels at the next tire change, and go to 265/35 and 295/35, getting away from the 19" rear.
There are several options if you would consider 255/35-18 fronts, and 295/30-19 rears. Each would be on the maximum end of the wheel width limit, but the relative difference in OD, front to rear, would be about the same as stock, so you should not have any AH/TC problem. Good luck.
Thanks to all for info. I would like to stay with stock size but may have to consider others. Does anyone have experience with Falken tires? They show the 285/35/19 on their web site.
I am missing my Bridgestone S03 Pole position off the C5.

Falken is an also ran IMHO and Bridgestone is owned by Firestone How quickly do you need them? Everyone had baggage that biases their decision. I recommend you look at the user comments on Tire Rack AND sent PMs to several of the CF members who race. Check the Avatars for racing photos.
