MagnaFlow observations
The Magnaflow exhausts are tucked up under the bumper and closer to the floor pan.
Do you think that is why it is louder inside the cabin?
Also, it might heat the cabin up more and also cause the transmission to heat up as well.
I don't know if I like that.

James, have there been any installed other than the two "prototypes"?
I'd sure like to hear them all. Do you have the stock system on your car now? I'll be in North Miami in a few weeks and I want to hear whatever you got (and it needs to be pretty damn loud for me to hear them from Palm Beach to North Miami

I'm one of the two with the system on my C6. Yes they are the preproduction units. They sound fine. When you put your foot to the wood they bark hard. At cruise, there is no real drone, just a little at 60-65 in 6th gear up to 70. Remember your at about 1500 rpms at those speeds. As for performance, My baseline at magnaflow was 359 RWHP/358RWTQ. After install it made 372RWHP/371RWTQ. I have a whisle at high RPMS, but that's because the mufflers were hand packed instead of machine packed. They assured me that the production units would not have that whisle. Finally, as for heat. the carpet is a little warm, but I'm not sure if it's any warmer than the stock units. I've noticed that since I installed my Kooks headers, the sound has changed somewhat. Hope this info helps.
