CORSA with the BB X pipe install>>>
Just to start a few pics looking at the components...>>
Here is the complete set up:
and comparing the mufflers OEM vs CORSA:
and comparing the OEM H pipe to the BB X pipe:
Here is what the bottom side looks like with the OEM exhaust:
and basically the same view with the new exhaust:
While I was under there a few pics thought might be of interest>>>
Here is the chassis stiffner plate..actually quite impressive and damn there are enough bolts in that thing:
Here is the rear brake caliper cooling duct...nice set up:
Oh in case you missed my post on the general forum here is a pic of where you might want to check your emergency brake cable line for rubbing with the diff housing...might want to wrap a bit with something to protect the cable more:
and finally Mr Blu and his new exhausts:
Few last comments:
-First...the lift pics are misleading...the lift pads are at the perimeter chassis lift sites and NOT at the ends where they look like they are touching the floor pan area...a BIG
-install was a direct bolt off and bolt on...not cutting, welding etc
-if you replace the mid pipe (H for a X) the OEM clamps on the rear of the mid pipe can NOT be reused..they are spot welded onto the mid pipe
-you do have to remove the saddle tank protect covers and drop the rear sway bar to do an EASY install...no big deal
-I am doing a 100 mile ECU adaptation prior to going back to dyno test...will be interesting to see the numbers
That's all..was fun to do the install and I can say the exhaust note is impressive...my next door neighbor with a Lingenfelter supercharged Z06 was impressed.
All is good

So did something come with the kit to do this or was it something extra you had to provide?
Thanks!
P.S. - Most of the parts used in my GM Chevrolet Corvette are not made by GM or Chevrolet and it runs great.

Do you get any "snap-back" on heavy decel with the X-pipe?
Not really... just a bit of burbling (that is a technical term
) at lower rpms as you are coming to a rolling stop..actually to me a rather sporty sound and not offensive at all....Thanks all for the comments and yes the Elise gets driven...I like to switch back and forth...sorta refreshes appreciation for both cars

Question is how do I explain to my wife that I am buying mods for my Vette that hasn't even arrived yet
