Default Rammer

It's a great set-up. I have one installed with no clearance problems or codes popping up.Also it does not suck up water like everyone thinks. If you drive through a puddle deep enough to reach the intake that will be the least of you're problems. Have fun....

Read deep into this forum before you do anything. I remember reading about a few folks who got the Vortex and were VERY upset and dissapointed. The dynoed numbers were the same or WORSE if I remember correctly with the Vortex installed. I also remember them talking about having to cut and modify the intake, which ruined any chance of returning it after the dissapointing Hp numbers were in.

The stock intake is pretty awesome in the C6.

Also, a study was done on Air Hog air filters. Worse performance and Hp than stock...believe it or not.

Just letting you know what I have found here. Continue searching before you waste money.

I could not find the post, but one manufacturer spent weeks on prototypes and at best made two hp. They decided not to try to sell it. We are very lucky with the C6. Intake, throttle body, exhaust routing all very nice. Long tube headers, on the other had, have had good reports. When I am sure I can swap them to a Z06, I am getting a set.
