Default $50 for 4 bolts "Lowering Kit"?

I have decided to lower my C6. There is this bolt kit for $50 and I thought about buying it. But $50 for 4 bolts? I may just buy that for a quarter each at any Napa store! Am I wrong?

Can't you lower the C6 the same way as the C5?

The C-6 Lowers the same as the front of the C-5. The bolts shown are made with shorter Head and no bumper pad to cushion the ride on the springs. Thus it lowers the car further than stock. Pay what you are comfortable with but know that you will not find them as you see them available through normal markets.

Before you spend the money, lower the car the max with existing bolts...that'll probably be as low as you'll want to go.

This was probably the best advice. But I already bought it, together with the cool 3rd brake lgt they have. Anyway it will be good to be the Guinness Pig and write a quick review on the bolts. Will post feedback as it happens.

Mine was lowered by WCC with the bolts. I had a chance to measure the height of my car (Z-51 suspension, lowered) with a C6 with base suspension, stock height this morning. My rear is 2 inches lower than stock and the front is 1 inch lower than stock.

WCC did not have it and had it on back order so I went ahead and cancelled the order, as I am selling it anyway.
