I have a c6 with the 6 disc cd changer, no gps. Rarely, when i turn it on the display will come on but no sound, or nothing will come on at all. Has anybody experienced this same problem?

This is not uncommon and has been reported many times. You'll have to turn the car off, then restart. That clears the problem. The current theory is that sometimes the seat belt warning mutes the radio, but I don't know if that's true. It has been an issue on some other GM vehicles and, I'm told, a software fix is in the works. In the meantime, shutting the radio off before leaving the car seems to bypass the issue.

Not to debate StanNH, but this problem was common to the NAV cars showing no display, I have not heard of this one...
Try what he said though, but I would check with the dealer on this one...

It has been reported and discussed frquently on the General Discussion section and does effect the cars with the 6 CD changer. My car does the same thing too. Dealer says GM is aware of it and a fix will be coming out in the near future.
