One thing ... you will want to now use a cheap blank, get a quality blank DVD ... do all of the Test/Record and compares, because with Dual Layer DVD's ...especially copying directly ... sometimes errors can creap up.
Ok you hackers out there, can the Nav Disk be copied? After all, we do need a back up copy. Thanks
I copied mine a few weeks ago. You need a DVD Double Layer recorder.
I works with no problems and my original is put up in case..
I used Verbatim DVD+R DL media and Nero 6.6.0.6 to do the recording. Being both of my drives are DVD recorders (one being DL) I just copied to the DL drive.
As far as DVD DL media it is not cheap (Name brands) 3 disks for 24.99 to 29.99 at Fry's. So there is not too much of a chance for error at least without a cost. In my cast everything went off without a hitch and recorded good the first time.
