windshield chip repair question
Hope this isn't redundant to another thread... I've use the search function to check first.
Anybody have experiance fixing a minor windshield chip? I'm talking in the millimeter catagory... nothing to write home about but may as well fix it. Nowhere near the HUD surface I might add. Thanks.

Get that stuff that they flow into the chip - and do it before it cracks!!

Question asked.... question answered. Thanks all. Additionally, the Glass Doctor (aka windshield Doctor) also made arrangements thru my insurance company to affect repairs free of deductable or impact to premiums. When you fix the chip early, everyone wins.

I had a small fish eye windshield chip that was repaired. A year later when it got real cold it developed a crack. That crack kept growing until it reached the edge of the windshield.
I realize that many windshields have been repaired successfully, but there are exceptions!
