Dynatech headers...what do you know?
I know a lot of people have been going with the Kooks headers and have seen the arguments about LG's claims. But what does anyone know about Dynatech headers? They are the 1-7/8 size which doesn't give you as much low end torque (I think), but as soon as the Procharger supercharger comes out I'm putting that on so it's kind of a moot point. Any help would be appreciated.

You'll loose a ton of low end torque with 1 7/8. With 17/8 primaries your exhaust volume grows enough that back pressure drops so you don't back up the flow enough to build boost. It's simple physics. You could loose as much as half of the advertised boost. Back pressure builds boost in the cylinders. All of the forced induction systems are built around stock exhaust systems. You would more than likely have to change your pully diameter to compensate for your loss. BTW on the street 1 3/4 inch primaries are your best choice. Bigger isn't always better.
