Are you referring to the yellow turn signal lamps in the front light assemblies (they're on all the time when the car is on)? If you are then yes they are covered under warranty as I also had mine fixed recently (burnt out after 3 months). Guess they got a bad batch in BG.

Yes ... the yellow one. I found them at Wal Mart for $1 and replaced it. Easier than dealing with the dealer!
They have some new silver ones out that are silver when car is off but glow amber when on. Not a forum sponsor so won't post the address. Have seen and do look good. Think they were around $20.
I have one burned out already, 1 month old. Can't seem to figure out how to get to it.
Is this a GM only part or can it be bought at the auto store? Is it covered under warranty?
Thanks
It will be covered under your warranty and the dealer will have to special order that bulb.
Just turn the wheel so you have better access to wheel well area and remove that door flap by removing those fasteners. It is explained in the manual but I would just have them replace it for free because you can't get the factory DRL bulb in stock from dealer anyway unless you go to this aftermarket non-colored bulb. Yes they had to special order my DRL and I waited about 2 weeks for it.
