Default What do I need to order...headers.

Ok I used search but I want to make sure I get this right.

I have Borla Stingers with x-pipe on my C6, I want to add headers. I was thinking Kooks..what are all the items I need to order? I'm reading about high flow cats and o2 sensors etc. Can someone just tell me what to order so I can have it all delivered to a local shop and they can hook me up with no problems...thanks guys.

All you need is the headers and the "down pipes" I think they call them, they go in place of your X pipe which will no longer be necesasary, funny thing is, before installing my kooks headers (supposed to be today) I have to go get them coated, they came stainless steel from kooks and I guess that just rusts after a few days.

Default This is what you need to order

Order the kooks complete system. It includes:

Headers, 3 inch high flow cats and X-pipe(one piece)
2 two foot sections of pipe from the x to your exhaust.
Four 02 extenders, since everthing is now located down stream.
all the clamps your going to need
2 Gaskets DON'T USE THEM!! instead get factory round steel gaskets.
They work best. once there tight you never have to retorque them, and they never leak!

Cool...I ordered the Kooks, should be delivered to the shop I use next Tuesday. Spoke to Kooks, one of thier distributors and the shop and all said the installation will be just fine with my Borla Stingers. Wondering if I should bother ordering an intake and getting it done same time or just forget that and look for a tune next.

Take a look at the Dynatech Supermaxx............I was at the factory today and they are top notch. I was so Impressed that I decided to put the complete system on mine.....plus B&B Route 66 Exhaust.
They showed us how they are made and they do a great job.

Just got stingers and kooks Lt's installed today. Anyone who does the same is gonna have a smile on their face for about 8 hours strait. Like I said in my other post, my C6 sounds alot like an Indy car, whatever your expecting, multiply it by 2 or 3, thats the final result. I'm a happy man right now.
