Default Window Sequencing

Just picked up my C6. When I went to get in the car at the Dealers the doors won't open since the Valet didn't leave the car in Reverse. They had to charge/ jump the car to get it started. Have not read all the manuals or watched the DVD's included with the car but wonder if anyone has had problems with the windows not returning to the full upright position after the door closes?

Just had it happen to me this morning. Went to get in and the car was completely dead. Charged the battery and everything was fine, except windows do not index back up after closing -- only a clicking noise from the console.

Only 250 miles. Hope someone has the answer.

to rest the window indexing simply hold the window button in the up position for 5 seconds. that should reset it back to the proper indexing sequence.

When the car loses power the windows must be reinitalized. Get in the car and close the door. Raise the window all the way up and hold for 3 seconds. Release. Hit the raise button again for 3 seconds. Release. That be all.

I'm surprised that a different procedure posted above worked.
