One HAS to wonder how high compression and boost will hold up over time. I also wonder what octane is needed to reach his advertised HP!!
I also noticed his "conversion" to RWHP - it works out that 400 (GM) HP would provide 307 RWHP - in line with my seat of the pants C6 test drive compared to my '69's 320 RWHP (measured with a G-tech).
My only issue is ugly wheels for $9500 that have 1in larger diameters but use stock tire widths. It'll be hard to put the power down on those. But he did say it is still covered by a full factory warranty.
The interesting thing on that car is that the dyno #'s were before any tuning at all. The computer shuts the car off at 5,500 rpm so once it is tuned it might actually make like 600 or so. A local shop, D&R Head & Casting put the supercharger on it even though everyone told them that it couldn't be done and that the computer wouldn't allow the car to move let alone put out decent #'s.
