Header Heat

Considering a complete exhaust system on my C6, including headers. Concerns are with the heat issues both in the engine compartment and the passenger compartment. Any comments? Also recommendations are more than welcome! Thanks

I had Kooks headers installed and engine compartment heat was reduced. A bonus with the RWHP increase. I'm sure member Archtop will tell you the same, he has the same setup.

Tubular headers are going to reduce the heat over cast manifolds just about 100% of the time. Have those tubular headers, mild steel or SS, ceramic coated in and out, and the heat issue will be a dead issue.

Hey Scott how did your session with Cartek go? Did the flash help? Was it worth it?

I had Kooks installed and have noticed no heat gains in the cabin. However, I did notice some nice performance gains and in combination with the Magnaflows I now have Vette that sounds like a Vette should.
