What is the finned rectangular piece in front of the crank pulley in the lower part of the engine bay? Thanks, Gary

I read somewhere that the C6's radiator fan was not a simple on-off fan, instead it's rpm is proportional to the amount of cooling air required. So my guess is that it is the fan controller module. I wish the d*** service manual would hurry up and come out

Yep, PS cooler. Guess I didn't pay attention to the "in front of the pully" part of his question. Doh!
