mine changed to a golden tint within a couple hundred miles. No rust. Once the color changed, I dont think they have gotten worst. I do wish I had them jet coated. I wouldnt get them jet coated because of the discoloring, but I hope they dont get rusty in 5-10 years. performance wise, for street use, they are all bout the same. Within a couple of HP. That didnt matter to me, it was the price I like. My kooks cost $1238.00 for the headers, cats, X-pipe, and straight tubes. That was 2 years ago from the vette doctors.

According to what I've been able to find out....Kooks are stainless and headers, collectors, x-pipe, etc, will run you around $1500. Price seems to have gone up a little, but I like the stainless construction to counter against rust.
