anyone have their clutch done as a result of the tsb ? how was it ? did it take a week (as quoted from my dealer) ? is it stiffer, etc. etc.

I'm going to find out this week. I had my car at the
track today and made two 1/4 mile runs. On each
run, the clutch never returned from the floor on the
2-3 shift. Pretty darned alarming when it happens.

What's scarier still is, what if the clutch DOESN'T HAVE the involved date code?

I'm pretty sure my date is past the TSB recall date.

yes I have
I had my clutch replaced about 2 months ago(or about two weeks before the tsb was released). It is much stiffer in the pedal feel and the clutch does not exhibit any of the lifting found in the other unit.

So do all C6's built after a certain date have the new and improved clutch? I'm curious about my '06 model.

I heard that a TSB (05-07-31-001) has been released for the C6. Does anyone know what the affected VINs are?

Gotta be kidden!
This is the same problem as with the C5. How many years does it take to get it right? The General screws up again.
