Shift light hook-up wire

Anyone know where to tap for the tach signal for a shift light? Same as the white wire from a C5 in the dash?

No one installed a N2O system or shift light? Is the tach wire in the same spot on the C6 as it was on the C5?

PCM pin number the same.......white wire......shift light installers...anyone?

You may just be the first person here to install a shift lite in a C6. Once you figure it out, I might be the second one.

You do know there's a 'shift up arrow' on the HUD?
You should be able to tap into that somehow.

The shift light is in, just not hooked up to the tach signal.....too lazy to open the wheel well

At redline. Set the HUD to track mode and see.

It will come on in street mode also.

P.S. I think it comes on past the beginning of the red on the dash tach.

I tried it yesterday and saw the arrow on the hud. Does it hurt your motor to shift when the arrow tells you to at redline(or a little past), or is it better to shift your self before redline. This would be in a race of course.
