Need some help with this thing...
Does anybody know for sure if the C6 chevy Carrier with the 3:42 ring & pinion thats sold as a complete unit, will fit into the C6 Automatic car that currently has a 2:73 ratio or will it not fit and i'll have to settle for the 3:15 carrier? Help... no

I can tell you that all the 3.xx carriers are the same (and different from the 2.xx carriers). I can't tell you for sure if the splines on the 3.42 pinion are the same as the splines on the 3.15 pinion. I'm *pretty* sure they are, but I'm not 100% positive the manual and automatic pinion splines are the same.
