I've not yet commited to buying a C6 yet. I'm waiting for confirmation on the '06 auto trans being a 6-speed. Then I'll place an order for a Z51, 6spd. auto.
Anyway, I don't seem to see any info on disabling the DRL's. Can anyone point me towards any info on this? I don't care for them and have them disabled on my VW R32 (was easy to do).
Thanks for the help! I'm still trying to get to a dealer that has some C6's. I would like to look at one as well as drive one before taking the plunge.

You can disable them manually when the car is started by turning the light position ring (on the directional stalk) from the default "auto" position to off.
I don't think anyone's found a way to disable them permanently yet. I thought I had right after I got my PR 6-spd, but it was a false alarm. Of course, disabling them permanently would also probably disable your front turn signals. I think the turn signals still work if you do it manually each time you start the car like Scruff Vette was talking about doing.
Thanks Scruff. I did not realize that you could override the DRL's at start up. I guess we will have to see if someone comes up with a final solution so they stay off all the time.
I am located in Switzerland but I have a US spec C6.It is not allowed to have DRL by law here. So my dealer had to permanently disable the DRL. I don`t know how he did it but they are off now. The blinkers work flawlessly. He even wired the front sidemarker to the blinkers.
So there is a way.
