In Vette magaazine this month(I think it was that one), they hook up a 100 shot wet kit. It made 103 rwhp increase and 245ft/lbs
If I remember correctly it made 440/600. That's crazy. Stock manner's, no emissions, and you can put it back to stock in a heartbeat. I was going to sell my kit that I use on my c5. But now I think I might hold on to it for the c6

Alot of manufacturers are saying that they are a few months away. It will be interesting to see what they come up with. We have pictures posted in the C6 section of our website.

what they will come up with is simple to guess. they will come up with a really small blower kit, running 5-6 psi. It will do around 500 to the wheels with bolt ons and will not be as reliable as most would expect. However, it will still sell becuase everyone wants a supercharger and dont know what the implications of running an 11.1 compression engine with a supercharger. Its crazy in my opinion to supercharge it. Youd be paying around 8K for the setup installed and you wont be getting much in terms of what you could get through forced induction. If you are not doing 10PSI you really arent boosting.

10psi?

Don't the C5's only boost around 6 in the standard kits? That pushes the car into the low 11's.

How is that not boosting? I don't get you....

Good luck running 10psi w/o forging everything. I run 5-5 1/2 in my ZO6.

What about turbos? Are there any in the works?

I will put low compression heads and forged pistons once the superchargers and trubos hit the market .

My tuner ran 11.67 at 3600', high humidity, no track prep.

another solution would be to bundle a supercharger with heads designed to lower compression. It dosent take much to go from 11:1 to 10:1 or lower with modified heads. I expect the bigger tuners like LPE would take this route as it would allow safer AND more HP. Just my 2 cents

LPE has a twin turbo kit. Their kit with a 427-inch LS2 made 951 HP & 950 ft-lbs on the engine dyno.
