C6 wheel lug nut torque
Bob
Edited:
BTW, the stock lug nuts are 19mm. I put on chrome McGard lug nuts from Pep Boys and they are 13/16".

I use 40, 70, 100. Each lug to 40, then each to 70 etc, tightning lugs in a star pattern (no two adjacent lugs sequentially).
Not taking down to anyone. Some folks do their first torquing on their new Corvette.

That torque spec is about the only one in the Owner's Manual.

I've got the McGard 64002, which is a 4 pack of their 60002 lug nut. These are an M12x1.5 thread and require a 13/16" socket. They were the only ones I saw in the catalog for a C6 (and I just checked the website as well).
I just went out and measured, and they are plenty deep so the lug won't bottom out before the cone is seated at torque specs.
The numbers you gave are for locking lug nuts that require a keyed socket. I don't have them and don't know nuttin' 'bout 'em, but your advice to get the longer ones sounds good.

The McGard application info that I read at Pep Boys (and online) didn't have the 64012 listed as a lug nut for the C6, so I got the 64002.
I checked on the Summitracing.com website and can see the difference. The 64002 is a straight sided lug nut, whereas the 64012 is a "bulge cone" lug nut.
As far as I can tell, they are exactly the same length, just different in the cone area. And, as has been mentioned, the 64012 uses a 3/4" (which is the same as 19mm) socket, and the 64002 uses a 13/16" socket.
I'm glad to hear that either one fits and can be used. Here's a picture of each one so anybody that wants to get some can pick the one they want.

Here's the straight sided 13/16" 64002:
and here's the bulge-cone 3/4"/19mm 64012:
