exhuast wrap - anyone try / results ?
anyone tried the exhaust wrap "trick". it's old timer / racer trick to reduce backpressure, increase hp, and cool the engine compartment. i've also heard about the complaints of cracked headers, etc due to too much heat retention (seems to be associated to cheap materials and too much wrap). i'm interested if anyone has tried it and if there are any hard and fast numbers.

Don't think you'll find to many that have.
The favorite method these days on aftermarket headers is ceramic coating to reduce heat etc.
Header wrap is great for protecting tie rod end boots from hot rotors though
