Default HallTech Tric nears completion.....

A new intake is on the horizon and will be tested tomorrow. Jim Hall (of HallTech Tric Intake fame) has an intake nearly ready for our C6 Corvettes.

Mike Norris ( Norris Motorsports, Ocohe, FL) is testing the new intake.

Its, pure, simple and tight, according to Jim Hall. Pricing TBA.

Jim has 40 pre-sold orders. Digital Corvettes has pics. It is NOT a bottom breather (ie no shroud cutting)

Look forward to an article in "CORVETTE FEVER" magazine soon.

Having had a Tric on my 2002 Z06 (12 RWHP), I am looking forward to the dyno numbers.........................

We now have the Vortex Rammer, the Callaway Honker and Halltech is coming out with their version. Does anybody know the difference between the three. Most threads on the subject by forum members don't believe there is much room for improvement over the stock intake on the LS2. I used a Halltech intake product on my ZO6 and I liked the results. I would really like to see dyno results, the dyno tells the tale. If 10 or 12 rwhp is available the the $300 or $400 would be worth the investment. But if 2 or 3 rwhp is all you get I will have to consider other options. Please post dyno results.

I'm not so consumed by the hp increase...probably got more than I need now...I just love that sucking noise coming from under the hood! This could prove to be an interesting mod.

Yep, its pretty nice looking. Hard to say how it would compare to the halltech without any real numbers to work with. All well, I have been waiting for someone else to be the guinea pig with all the other stuff so I figured it was about time I took one for the team.
