I have read that you can increase horse power rather easily on the vette by changing a couple of things - air intake and exhaust. Does anyone have any quantatative information on these products? Also other ways to boost horsepower would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Did you read that here? Seems to be just the opposite-very little, if any, gains from the intake or exhaust add ons. More for looks and sound. (unlike the C5)

If you are considering headers when you mention exhaust, then yes, horsepower can be gained there for sure. From what I can learn, about 20-30 hp at the rear wheels is possible with good headers, at least that is my expectation. If I do anything with the rear of the system it will be just for the sound; not counting on any additional hp from it.

GM doesn't want the 05 C6's computer to be messed with. On the C5's, tuning of the computer could squeeze out additional HP & TQ, adapting it to installed modifications, adjusting air/fuel ratios, and depending on what modifications, could really boost the power. The C6 remains out of reach, for the time being, but I'm sure that in the near future the tuning wizards will break-thru somehow....we hope.

Where have you been? LPE, A&A, LGM, Cartek, Ron Zimmer, and others are all capable of tuning the C6, and their results have been posted here.
