I got into my car this morning (z51 mn6 coupe) and noticed that the clutch had about 1" of play in it right at the top of its travel. If you remove your foot from the clutch pedal entirely, then go to actuate the clutch, the first inch of travel feels as though the pedal is disconnected entirely from the clutch. After the first inch, the clutch feels normal, but the friction point is one inch closer to the floor.
I am going to make an appointment to have this looked at, but i wanted to know if any of you guys have seen this before, or have an idea of what could be causing this.
