ok, new idea...

how about this instead ? throttle body, rubber ripple hose (the current one installed), empty air box, maf, intake duct, filter(s).
would the empty airbox (inline between the maf and the tb) provide a sufficient air reserve for instant throttle response ? does the rubber ripple hose handle the reversion from the tb/intake/valves ?
i think i'm still gonna try to find out what happens when the maf is rotated though.
