Default FAST-lsx manifold

I called FAST today to ask if they had plans to make a manifold top that would work with the current LSx manifold and was told that they would be making a decision within the next 2-3 months to build it if at all. The initial engineering opinion is that they are not sure if it will work with the current bottom piece.

If it can be made to work after computer modeling, design would then begin. For those on the fence waiting for a manifold that would fit without cutting into the firewall, it will be a long time if it ever gets made.

Good to know that the FAST LSx doesn't fit in the C6, I was just about to order the 90mm!

It does fit, but you have to do some fiberglass work to get there and I don't think many owners are willing to go there. I have seen posts from LPE, Andy at A&A and LGM on installing the FAST intake on a C6.

It does fit I have one on my car, just need to trim the back of the firewall underneath the wiper assembly, big difference though

How about a few pics to see what it looks like back there with the manifold in place.

I was hoping to head over to LGM soon, but I just haven't found the time. My understanding is that you have to trim the area under the cowl to get the LSX to fit. Not sure how visible it is once completed, but my guess is that it would be a tough place to spot something as long as you finish up with matching paint.
