Since Performance (read=Autocross) tires are not yet available in the 19" sizes for the C6 (rear), I borrowed a friends C5/Z06 wheels/Tires and installed them on my C6 (non-Z51). I am happy to report that the tires and wheels cleared everything. The 17 x 9.5 inch fronts with the stock Goodyears cleared everything at full lock and the 18 x 10.5 inch rears had plenty of clearance. This allows someone to pick-up a set of the C5-Z06 replica wheels and mount a set of sticky Kumho or Hoosiers and kick butt at local events. Note - the smaller diameter wheels are not legal for the SCCA Stock category autocross class for the C6. My friend still had the pressure sensors installed on his original wheels and they "talked" well with my C6 computer!

A word of warning...
Some of the replica wheels will not hold up to sticky competition tires and aggressive driving at Auto-x or HPDE track days. We have seen several of them break the spokes out Z06 replicas with both kumho V710s as well as Michelin Pilot Sports. Your best bet is to find a set of factory Z06 wheels, they are lighter and stronger than the cast replicas.

Most of the aftermarket are made in China. Best to use OEM's
