It would be nice if they would advertise hp gains before shelling out 400 bucks. I will wait to see others as guinea pigs before I spend that much. I had it on my 2000 vert and did notice a nice gain, but many have said that the stock intake on this car flows really good stock.I have added the bullet catback and already itch for more mods, but I'm not willing to spend to much for little gains.I think by xmas there should be some better aftermarket performance products out with proven gains.Hopefully the computer programs for tuning will be perfected by then.Seems like that is where the best bang for your buck is on these particular cars.
Aside from not having any extra $$ to spend on mods right now...
The jury is STILL OUT on what works, and what doesn't on the C6. I'm more than happy to allow all the INDEPENDANTLY WEALTY, new adopters here to experiment FOR ME (at thier expense). While I'm sure there's a bunch more ponies to be wrung from the C6, with a combination of bolt-on-mods - save for the fairly obvious - NONE are really proven.
My personal Xmas list so far, looks something like: ATI Procharger (with associated intake mods), Kooks Headers & X, Borla or Corsa Sport, ECU Tuning (fans, TM, mod tweaking). I suspect the above will yield close to 525RWHP +/-, more than enough for me, and still maintain reliability for my DAILY DRIVER.
Most of this stuff is still TOO NEW, and everything INTERACTS - so it makes more sense to think of mods in a "system" fashion, than on thier own individual merits (ie: if the blackwing doesn't flow enough for a blower, it's a waste of $$, and so on...).
While I'd LOVE to have a COBRA KILLER (or even a Viper Killer), what I DO HAVE in the interim is; the most comfortable, fastest, gorgeous, american sports car I've ever owned. While the need-for-speed (and more speed) is great, I'm real happy with what I have now (for now), and more than content to see what's down the road (right around the corner) in the way of mods/tuning for the C6.
I would counsel some PATIENCE to all the non-independently-wealthy forum types (like me), and urge the rich guys here to keep on testing for the rest of us.

amen, but then again some of us just gotta experiment...
I wont buy any intake until I see several results in performance for each one.If I cant gain at least 10rwhp then I'm not going to shell out 4 to5 hundred.Blackwing should at least list some test run gains so people know what to expect. Not saying anything surely wont help there sales when its almost twice as much as the system for the c5.
Why is everyone so skeptical with HP claims on c6 intakes?? Because the manufactures are'nt being upfront with us!!! Go to their web sites the info provided does not answere many questions? Which i wont get into (just read the many threads ) THEY SHOULD ALL POST PROPER BEFORE AND AFTER DYNO RESULTS. Who wants an extra 10hp(or none) at redline at the sacrifice of HP and TRQ every where else through out the powerband?
Priced seperately, the Honker C6 Air Induction System is $390.00
and the Callaway "DD" Cat-back is $1,095
As "Power Group 1", you will save $60.00 by ordering as a package
I have driven literally a thousand miles w/ the Callaway Cat-back (6 spd) and they have their "powerful sound" without the resonance - Competitively priced too
