The LS6/Z06 cylinder heads (standard on LS2 C6s) are great heads to work with, porting those along with the right cam choice can yiled awesome results.
Cartek (www.cartek.net) has gotten some very strong numbers out of their C6 (470+rwhp, 10.9 second quarter miles at over 127mph), first C6 in the 10s ever actually.

Most any vendor can hook you up.
Try: www.cmotorsports.com www.ls1speed.com www.tbyrnemotorsports.com www.thunderracing.com
Just a few off the top of my head.
I've ordered parts from all of 'em over the years.
Typical price range is from $1,500 for some basic heads, to $2,400 for some max flow, big valves, etc setups.
Try searching the LS2 technical section over at www.ls1tech.com for some hardcore info.
We have 205 afr heads in stock & I'm finishing up some ls2 heads currently. I actually have a few h/c packages put together for the ls2 cars If anyone is wanting to try a package out give me a call & I'll get some awesome pricing together for ya
Yes it has been...but why the need for the ?
And please keep in mind that any type of board sponsor bashing/negativity is quite frowned upon here, sponsor promoting IS NOT.
I personally wouldnt go with Patriot
I had a deal worked out with the owner, was going to trade him my S2 GTP heads for there S3 ls6 style heads to go with my 410ci stroker. Thank god I didnt cause they had a lot of problems with there heads.
This is what I would do and might do myself when the time comes....
Buy AFR 225 heads about $2,400 with dual springs no core ect and sell yours complete with springs for about $800 to $1,000. In the end you have heads that flow around 330cfm and will make great power for only $1,400!! I know a few places that can get the AFRs even cheaper, pm if you want some more info

I personally have no issue with the Patriot heads. I had them on my recently departed '04 GTO. With a 408, 242/246 cam, and Patriot ST3 LS6 heads, the car is now making 509rwhp.
I think they are a great bang for the buck.
I know they had some issues with a supplier, but overall, they stand behind thier product, and offer a good value for the enthusiast.
