Default Cartek customer service support?

Anybody else have problems getting e-mail replies from Cartek? I have e-mailed them twice asking basic questions and coordination for work, but no reply. Is there some secret handshake that I'm missing??

I'm in Iraq so its not exactly easy to call, besides, if their service is like this before I purchase, I'm kinda concerned what it may be like afterwords.

I've got 2 email replies from Lingenfelter where I am also considering getting the same work done. Hmmm, wonder which one will get my business. Maybe someone at Cartek will read this post and check their e-mails. Jeff

I had same experience. I would go with Lingenfelter for this reason. No response from Cartech.

Most speed shops aren't all that into the email thing. Just pick up the phone and you'll have all the info you need. I've never had a problem calling Cartek. Emailing any of these shops will get frustrating real fast, since most don't have dedicated customer service people like LPE.

The problem is following up. When a company posts their name, information, and products in the forums customers tend to think they are computer/internet/email ready to answer your questions. Which if they use this medium to advertise they should be ready to respond.

Not too long ago during a group header purchase with another forum advertiser both my phone calls (messages left) and emails went unanswered. Service like that makes me realize how well my employees take care of our customers.

They returned my call but didn't follow up on a quote. I spoke to another tuner (less known) and the mechanic (not owner) told me that he frequently fixes cartek problems. Eitherway, it was too much hassle. Good luck.

This is a good one. I always follow up with quotes. Why would I do all the groundwork and not lock in the sale?

As far as fixing other peoples problems, ask our customers what we fix for others.

It wasn't easy but I do understand that Cartek has a little more going on than devoting their fulltime to my concerns. I had a small issue getting a response (for everyone of my 10 or so inquires). But I did my homework and persisted in getting my answers to my questions. Spoke directly to Dave several times and satisfied myself that Cartek was the best overall to handle what I wanted within my parameters.
Saturday my 'Vert was dropped off for headers, gears, clutch and stage 2x cam and heads.
Can't wait for it to be ready!!!!
Dave, can I pick it up tomorrow?

I haven't received any emails from you, what email address are you using? It should be jhormilla@cartek.net for tech and davebusch@cartek.net for sales/scheduling and tech.

Also remember just cause the sales guy goofs up once
or twice doesn't mean the shop isn't totally reputable.

I've had trouble getting responses from Lingenfelter
too, in fact Ed seems to have abandoned me, but that
doesn't mean the shop has trouble. Just that the sales
guy is disorganized.

Jeff, I just checked my email and I did not receive any from you.

Maybe the email server is filtering it? Who is hosting your email? Hotmail, yahoo, private company, etc.?

Not very nice Pat, I haven't abandoned you at all, but how many times can I answer the same question? Lingenfelter C6 installed packages are not legal in California.
There's one more for you.
