I prefer the Kooks product Have a set on order. Excellent pricing, great MFG to deal with. Also have a real good dealer network to take care of us.

I'm thinking the additional $400 could buy an intake like the Honker or such...
Exactly what I did....no regrets!

Lou,

I still want to be #1 on that GP

Question. Where I am located they are not picky on converters.....yet, and inspections are not a problem. So if I go with the "Off Road" version with no cats, do I have to run an 02 Modifier or something like that??

Still Patiently Waiting!!!

Lou,

A question for you sir. If a set of your 32" long tube headers with the high-flow cats is put on a C6 do we need (and, if so, do you supply) an extension wiring harness so that the O2 sensors work properly?

Default Waiting on LGs

I'm also waiting on my ordered set of LGs. Bobby told me on the phone that the set includes all of the extensions, etc.

Lou, the Kooks can be installed without removing the alternator ar any other significant difficulties. Are the C6 LGs also going to be an easy slip into place install if I have a lift?

I think you mean "Starter". The alternator has to be taken off to get the stock system/manifold off.
The starter is what some brands need to remove. LG headers is not one of them.

You can install the passenger side headers from the top or bottom but in either case the starter can stay on.

Thanks

We hooked the rear 02 sensors up and then used LS2 edit to delete the rear 02s.

There have only been 4 protptype sets installed and none have had any issues. I will be waiting for feed back from those who install them first.

With cats, there seems to be no issues since all 02 sensors are installed in the stock locations.

Thanks
Lou Gigliotti

Well, personally, I hope Lou is out in the shop working on customer cars, not spending all day in front of a screen, waiting for PMs and surfing vette forums. I see he got back to you at the end of the day, as it should be.

Got a PM from George @ KOOKS and a phone call from Carmen at The Vette Doctors. How's that for customer service? Anyway, my headers and 3" X-pipe are on the way.
