Default Common C6 problem summary

I will likely be in the market for a used C6 in next year or so and would like to know if anyone can summarize common C6 problems in a similar fashion as has been done for C5's (faulty fuel sending units/gas gauges, rocking/sliding seats, leaking diffs, power window motors, etc). I realize these issues are under warranty now, but if C5 history is any indication, they'll fail again.......I've reviewed some TSB's but hoping someone can draft up a quick list. Thanks in advance

Have you looked at the C6 FAQ on the first page of the C6 General section yet?

If you're not going to be buying a C6 for another year or more, why not wait until more cars are out and more time has passed? It's still very early in the production cycle of this car to know what, if any, problems will be common. The many problems discussed on the various boards are not necessarily an accurate indication of the frequency of any given issue.

If the several "problem polls" can be believed, then the vast majority (like 85%) of C6 owners have had little or no trouble with their cars. Everyone seems to have the occasional fob glitch, and the Z51 does have squeaky brakes. We also know that some crank pulley bolts have failed (perhaps 2-4%) in the first 11,000 cars produced. Other than that, I don't know what conclusions can be reached at this point. Generally, this car does not seem to be plagued with any consistent or large scale problems.

I'm on my second C6, and neither one of them has been back to the shop - knock on wood

I also on my second one. The first one was never in the shop (1900 miles), but the 2nd one has been in twice, once to replace the auto shifter and once to reprogram the radio. Minor problems.

this is why MotorTrend and other such companies do "10,000 Mile Reveiw Updates" Basically saying any problems they've had as miles have been put on, along with how much maitance the car has needed, along with mpg they've acheived.
They also check to see other problems that other owners of that sort of car have had....

The saying goes, the car comes with x mile warrenty, duh..problems dont happen till x miles +1 or 2 miles :-p
