pick a gear for an auto
I have a lpe head and cam car 500 hp added headers and high flow cats and x pipe, lpe is going to pick up next week to add 2800 tq converter and retune. car has proplem with traction now but I was thinking about adding a gear now rather then later, I will be adding drag tires soon what gear to add 3.42 .3.73 or 3.90 . I only get to track about 6 time a year. but I am looking for best et. I do not like to be beat. the car is very fast now and can not hook up tell mid way through 2nd. thanks for your input.

I would say the 3.73 as well. That way it will still be a decent hwy car if you ever use it for that. The 3.90 would be the best for the quarter mile of course, but if you only go 6 times a year then I would say 3.73.
