o2 sensor ?
can anyone tell me the part numbers for the o2 sensors on the c6 (mn6). i've been unable to find then from ac delco, the website only shows one and the shop i called couldn't find them. i, also, haven't been able to find then from bosch, ngk, etc.
i'm suspecting i've got one that is starting to flake out.
one she gets warmed up and i sit at a light or in stop and go traffic i get a hunting idle. it will usually idle around 500 - 700 then it will drop down to 200 - 300 then go back up, etc. very disconcerning.
way back when i discovered why gm put the rain gaurd over the filters the shop found low voltage on o2 sensors bank1 and bank2, i had them replaced. the sensors cost 70.46, if that provides any clue as to which sensors was replaced.

when the two were replaced they were not covered under warantee due to me removing the "rain gaurd" and water got in. eventually burning out the sensors....
With the temperatures and pressures in the combustion chamber there is no way that water gets to the O2 sensors. Sounds like the dealer didn't want to bill GM under warranty, your money was better.
Ever hear of water injection? It doesn't damage O2 sensors.

those filter / intake replacements don't have "cans" for water to collect in. the way the stock setup is configured, it will collect water into the filter "cans" and not drain, if the rain gaurd is not in place.
actually the work order said, "customer pay shop charge for repair order", "water was injested due to air cleaner housing being removed" (rain gaurd).
so i paid $359 to have two o2 sensors replaced.
after some more research it looks like they replaced bank1 and bank2 sensor 1. i need to find the correct part numbers for bank1 and bank2 sensor 2, and a supplier.
