Default Anyone consider LS6 intake

The LS2 intake is junk and the Fast intake requires cutting the firewall. Has anyone considered switching to an LS6 intake and smaller throttle body?

Well guys, we just tried a LS6 intake with a 90mm stock t-body on a 427 car. It's worth 10-15 to the wheels. We got this peice from TPIS it was a prototype but looked sellable. They are going into production!

Randy,

When will it be on the market, and any idea on the cost. The LS2 intake seems to be really holding the car back. Someone needs to fabricate a bolt on fast intake....

I'm assuming that it's a true round 90mm TB? I know they've had the oval 90mm x 80mm grafted onto an LS6 intake for years already.

It's sounds odd but yeah using an LS6 intake in place of the LS2 could yield improvements across the board, that LS2 intake is a bit of a letdown, curious how the LS7 intake will perform and/or what kind of results a FAST 90 set up would give to the new Z06.

I read somewhere that the LS7 intake won't fit. Different port sizes or something...

True, the LS7 heads are based on the C5R (C6R?) heads from what I understand so that intake will not work on the LS2 which also means that a current FAST intake won't work on the LS7 either, good point.

Any extrapolation from what that could do for a stock internals LS2 motor?
