I just put the Kooks on (X-pipe & hi-flows) and it does have some noise...a little bit of a "flutter" sound...almost like a leak, but no leaks. You get used to it. It will also open up whatever exhaust you have, so be ready for additional noise there as well...I like that part, but some may not...you really hear the engine more. The car feels really good and responsive, netted about 30rwhp gain with headers/exhaust.

I have a question: will you ever have enough C6 headers so that people can actually buy them without having to be placed on waiting lists for weeks on end?
I tried...Lou and the guys at LG are great, and I know it's not their fault, but it has been a long wait. I think the differences in TQ and HP will be negligible anyway (for street use for sure).
I actually was going to trade my C6 for a C2 I found, so I cancelled my order with LG about a month ago...the deal fell through, and still no headers, so I went with Kooks. John over at 21stCMC was able to pull an order for me and have them in a week.

I refer to that as the "header sound". You'll generally header the exhaust a little more but it's not something that is annoying or rattles. Aftermarket exhausts do wake up a little more though

We have a bunch of C6 Kooks headers on order for stock. This way we can send them out ASAP. I like most of you hate waiting for performance parts
Installed my Kooks, X-Pipe, High-Flow Cats on Wednesday. Damn, not only am I impressed with the fit, the performance is just awesome! The wait was a pain in the ***...but man, after firing that baby up and putting some miles on it......I'm just plan stoked! BTW, I don't hear any "noise", except that motor screaming thru Corsa Sports.
if i put headers on, will i have to worry about ratteling
Only if the installer is incompetent. Headers should be installed so they don't hit anything as the engine shifts on its mounts. Otherwise, you will have a rattle. Of course the headers will "ring" a bit at each exhaust stroke. That's the nature of the beast. Unlike cast iron, which dampens vibration, steel vibrates just fine.

Shopdog is all over it...if you are going to have them installed--cheaper is not usually better. When I was under my car, I took the extra time to route the 02 extension (front/rear), crafted a couple of clamps to keep wires away from hot pipes, made sure there was plenty of clearance around the brake line (runs next to left header), tweaked Corsa Sports--alignment, and twisting and turning the tail pipe tips to make sure they are straight/level. Spend a couple of bucks more to make sure its done right, paying attention to the details...will save you major headaches down the road and expensive repair bills as well.
