Default what a diff a cam makes

i just drove my friends c6 z51 mn6, with a cam, headers, intake, full exhaust, and tuning, and i am blown away. in the stock configuration the torque dies off around 4400 rpms, but after the cam the torque is still there all the way throughout the rpm range. his dyno graph said that he is running 415hp and 391tq to the wheels. work was done by andy at a&a. it is a completely different animal.

Default c6 power

Yeah, I agree....the cars stock are fast, but the ls2 takes very good to cam swaps. We put a cam in a c6 z51 6spd and went stock 352 to 403 rwhp. Then he came back and we put long tubes x-pipe and he had a corsa exhaust and put down 425rwhp. That car moves out. It has so much power all the way threw the rpm. He loves it. Im pretty sure he is on this board to. I think his name is ws6jjp.

it was a 220 cam. i noticed that his idle was at 900 rpm instead of 500, and the idle wasnt that rough.

Absolutely...and I tell anyone who asks about the LPE heads/cam package that it is not only about peak gains but what is happening with the output curves...to clearly illustrate when OEM is dying off and mods keep on goin, here the dyno to MR BLU (this is without headers and intake...those later)>>>
