Max boost on C6, what do you think?
As title says, what would you think max boost would be on stock CR (10.9:1) cast pistons?
This is two parts – with and without methanol.
Then what kind of HP would you expect?

So with the C6 you are seeing a pretty big jump in compression ratio.
What we do know is what the effective compression ratio for the LS1 with the A&A = (( 9 / 14.7 ) + 1 * 10.1 ) = 16.28
to get to this "reasonable level in a c6:
(( X / 14.7) + 1 * 10.9 ) = 16.28
X = 7lbs
If you go by the "SAFE" ATI numbers with higher intake temps:
LS1 = ((7/14.7) + 1 * 10.1 ) = 14.9
LS2 = ((X/14.7) + 1 * 10.9 ) = 14.9
X = 5.3 lbs
The LS6 was 10.5:1 and handled 7lbs on the A&A kit just fine. The ATI kit was 5-6.

9psi on pump gas will work but the candle that burns the brightest burns out the fastest.
I think 11-12psi on methanol is doable and or on race gas.
We have done 10psi on a stk bottom 10.5 a few times and they have stuck together.
