I recently purchased and installed a Corsa Sport (quad tips) exhaust. Anyone else experiencing this problem: driver's side muffler does not line up straight. The muffler tail pipes angle off. The passenger side is perfectly straight. Corsa sent me a replacement axle pipe and muffler, but this didnt correct the problem. I noticed a friend's C6 has the same problem. Corsa has been great and offerred to replace the pipe and muffler, but I wonder if it's a manufacturing issue.
If you installed a Corsa sport, tell us if you have had a similar problem and how you resolved it.

Unfortunately the right side of tips are set at more of an upward angle than the left side. I tried replacing the left side, same problem. I then had a new set sent to me, same result. Corsa would not acknowledge a problem and said that it was improperly installed. Luckily, I had ordered them from WCC where they were interested in resolving the problem. The solution was to line up the mufflers first then force the right side tips down to line up with the left side tips. I sent the bill to WCC who promptly credited my credit card for the extra expense. I purchased mine in November, so I'm surprized to hear that the problem has not be solved. Good luck.
Same here. Corsa was surprised that there was a problem, but was willing to send replacement parts. They were nice about it. I guess, I'm just going to have to live with it. Functionality is not the issue, just the obvious imbalance.
I have the same problem, I did the install myself. After I noticed that the pipes weren't lining up I spent quite some time trying to get them lined up. Never happened.. I then called the customer service person who asked me who installed the setup etc. I replied that I did the install myself. He suggested that I take it to shop that had experience working on only Corvettes. I explained that after I did the install myself I did take it to a muffler only place and they were still unable to get the tips lined up. He asked that I send him some pictures. I never did. I then went to the Kerbeck show recently in Atlantic City where I had one of the Corsa reps look at the pipes. He suggested that I loosen the whole system from the headers to the back and try to see if that helps. I have not yet to try this suggestion so I will hold off on requesting to send them back. I do believe they do have a problem somewhere.

Believe me when I say, the only way to get them to line up is to force the right side down. Save yourself the trouble, frustration and hassle. The performance shop that reinstalled mine used a crow bar and applied downward pressure to the right side. BTW, I sent pictures and had 3 way conversations with the installer, WCC and myself. No amount of loosening, rearranging, etc..will correct a manufacturing flaw.
I've had them on for about 4000 miles and they sound oh so sweet and better with age.
I did a DIY and had a heck of a time getting mine to line up right. Everytime I got em' right and as soon as I tighten they would move. I sure wish I had a TIG.

I had a muffler shop put mine on. Corsa told me the same thing: loosen up the H pipe and "rotate" it and then tighten. Tried it, no help! How do you rotate a solid object that has no wiggle built in to it? It sounds like we will all have to live with a minor mis-alignment
This Thursday the Chevy dealer where I bought my C6 is installing a Corsa system (with touring conversion). The dealer's parts dept. ordered this 6 weeks ago and was supossed to take only 5 days to get in. Last week they just got it. The parts guy said they originally got the kit two weeks ago but it was damaged in shipping and then the kit was again received only for the parts guys to find it still damaged, reshipped only in a new box and packing.
I fear a potential for problems here. I put a deposit with a guarantee for MSRP on a '06 ZO6 (I really want this car!) at this same dealer (a dealer with only a couple of alocations and I am promiced the 2nd.) and I don't want to let happen a situation where I end up unhappy about an installation that has to be redone or refit because I am the typical Vette perfectionist and the dealer is unhappy with a complaining customer. I noticed that since the vetts got tough to get the dealers got tough with customers. As I write this letter I kind of got my own answer but would like to hear from a few others as to what YOU would do? I don't want to stand under the mechanic and tell him what to do, but I don't think this dealership sells or works on many vettes (*my cause of concern). I went to them because of proximity and they got me the only vette I could be happy with - a Convertible 6mn, Z51 in LMB, casemere interior and from all accounts from what I read in this forum - I cannot complain. No problems and dyno #'s are above normal.

No you don't. Just force the right side down to line up with the left side.
