Try Z-5 first and do it by hand. Then try any good grade cleaner wax.
Next - good old Dupont #7 polish (McGuires #2 will do). Then a white polishing compound.
Remember just like in High School - a great hand job is best.
depends on a couple variables, do you want to "hide" or "cover" them (they will come back), or do you want to remove them permanently ??
If so, this is the perfect package and should be included with each C6 (Porter Cable). Look over to car care for specific use hints and polishes. I would suggest the Optimum Line for novice and professional alike.
Do be carefull! I have to agree with autogeek if you are going to try it yourself. i have the PC. Get on autopia and find a detailer that knows what the hell they are doing and give it a whirl. All of the tunnel car washes that have detailing services use products that fill and not remove.
Made some phone calls tonight. I'll be taking to a vette restorer tomorrow to take a look. You convinced me to leave it to professionals.
It isn't like buffing out my silverado. Thanks for the advice.
