The Stage III differentials do not require a core and are only sold outright using brand new assemblies to insure maximum strength for all applications.

We only produced a few C6 differential struts this last run for a few folks. Our next run will include many more for our stock. This product is VERY effective is preventing C6 differential fracture.

DTE

The next run of differential struts for the C5 and C6 Corvette, manual or automatic will not be completed until the middle of December, especially with the Holiday season approaching. Many of our dealing distributors have both models of the C5 kits already in stock now and on their shelves for those that need on one for the C5 Corvette platform.

Best Wishes,
DTE

Do the A4's C6 05 cars need to do a strut differential replacment with 3:73 gears or is this mainly a MN6 "thing"?
Sorry, I didn't realize this question 'til I read about it in this thread.

Thanks,
Sal

We suggest a differential strut to anyone who's engnie combination is producing good power or if the car sees the track...at anytime, as it only takes one good hook to ruin your day. It's an inexpensive preventative upgrade in drivetrain durability for any car.

DTE

Phil (the guy who owns DTE) and Jenny at DTE just got married last weekend, and won't be back until after Thanksgiving. It may be a while before they reply. You might can call their shop and get a quote.

Is it possible to get one of your rear ends with the 2.73 ratio. That might be just the ticket on the new 06 A6.

The differential strut run is not complete as of yet and when they are, this board will be proactively informed about it. Also, we have NOT invoiced anyone for their pre-order differential strut on orders that were placed directly here and we never do until they ship. If you have been invoiced, it must have been through someone other distributing dealer somewhere, as we do not encourage that. Also, the A6 model is not fully engineered yet.

I would like 3.90 gears for my MT C6. My only concern is who makes the Ring and Pinion gears you use? Thanks !
