My tuner says that the Dynatech headers are the best. Which headers do you think has the best performance, quality and fit? Also what RW HP do you think is reasonable to expect?
This topic always starts a big debate. Perform a search and you'll find endless threads. Arguably, LG and Kooks are the best. My biased opinion is for the LG headers. Made of stainless steel, great fit, and you can expect 35-45rwhp. Good luck with your decision.
I'm using LG's on my Z06 and BPP on the C6. I like the coating used on the BPP's, the headers still look brand new, the LG's color is starting to turn. I think both got me around 20 or so to the wheels.
I was going to buy lgs but they have now lost my buisness.
NO one answers my calls or messages.
And no one can seem to get them for my c6
So i am going with kooks through tbyrne for the kooks with the cats and install it is around $1900.
Have not heard one bad thing about kooks!
You can install them yourselves, me and my buddies just did my b&bs last night, if you follow the instructions and use the guide at the zip website you can to it. I am only 22 with minimal experience. We only used ramps and jack stands and they went on perfectly. I wouldnt waste the money and you have a real feeling of accomplishment when you see those beauties go on.
What is the cost of installing headers on the C6, I got a quote of 400-500 for the install plus the cost of the headers, does this seem on target?
Shouldn't have to pay more than $300 for install ... commonly if purchasing headers, x-pipe and highflow cats as a package then install
only $200 additional to parts....good luck.

You were able to get the car high enough with just ramps to get the headers in from the bottom?
I did the 1 7/8" SuperMaxx from Dynatech. They sound great with my Corsa's. I did the Jet-Hot on them also. 1695.00 for the headers, hi flow cats and the X pipe. Easy to install. If you order from Tbyrne I beleive he has some specials which save you around 500.00 on the order.
yep, the ramps were good enough but if your a big guy you wont be able to get under there. Luckily, my buddies smaller and could do it. You have to put jack stands down to loosen the rear muffler connections. ALso, to let any of you guys who were interested in the bb headers. They are amazing. Went for a cuise and the power is un real.My buddieswho were with me said it made there face vibrate wheni passes them. But i will warn you,I have the bullits and it is very very loud, nascaresque. But other than that the f car is scary fast. I highly rcommend considering them. Hope to have it dynoed soon.

Funny! I called LG; they answered the phone right away. I called several times, they always answered the phone. Got a complete coated header set up for my C6, with high flow cats in 2 weeks time and they had to send them to Jet Hot for the coating. With Corsa Sports, they are great!!
R U sure you don't work for the competetion?LOL
