NE1 Emission package?
Most dealers in the Northeast states like CT, NJ and NH will usually order the "NE1" Emission package that is required in MA/ME/NY/VT so that they can sell a car to someone who lives in one of the states who require it. Does anyone know what the differences are between the FE9 (Federal) and the NE1 for the 2005 model year? The last Vette that I bought new in 2000 had this package and the car included Pup cats on the exhaust manifolds in addition to the regular catalytic converters that were fairly restrictive just to help reduce the "cold start" emissions. This robbed about 20+ HP compared to the Federal car. Thanks
