Skip Shift Triggering Check Enging Light
Installed skip shift eliminator from Mid America on C6. The check engine light comes on and the code is for the skip shift. Take the skip shift off, clear code and check engine light stays off.
Has anyone had similar problems when installing a skip shift on a C6 since it never triggered a code on my C5.
Should I try another vendor or is there no way to get around the check engine light coming on?

There is a "Web" that is inside of the conector that we drill out on ours so we do not have the problem.
If the web is left there sometimes it will not allow the conectors to "seat" and will through codes. You can take a needle nose and take it out!
