Default JUST INSTALLED THE B&B BULLETS!

WOW! These sound great. I had the borlas on a C5 & was okay with the sound, but I wanted the throaty growl on my C6. These are the ones if you REALLY want to hear em. I love the gurgle on deceleration and the roar when you cut her loose. I wish I could do sound clips but I dont have the equip.
Thanks Lars! I got the sound I was looking for!

Good to hear. Louder is better, these things are WAY too quiet stock.

I have the bullets with MN6 and there is some resonance in the 1600-2100 RPM level under load. More noticeable with the roof on. I do not find it a problem. No problem on the highway at cruise. Sounds great under acceleration.

MN6. Resonance? I would say yes, some, but they do sound great. I have a vert and top down at 70 is pretty sweet. You can still hear em for sure, but not overbearing at all. The wind is louder, however, step down and they really come alive.

As I said above, I had borlas on a C5 and wanted more. When I first fired up the C6 inside of my garage with the bullets installed I thought, wow, I may have gotten more than I wanted. After backing out & driving down the road I decided this is what I wanted.

Also, I really dont notice hp gain, but would you really feel a 10-15 hp gain?

If you dont want to be heard, dont get the bullets. If you do, then you wont be disapointed.

edit: I gotta go for a drive now! Have a great day all!

Did you get the B&B X-pipe too? Would that help with the resonance?

i've got the x pipe with my bullets, i've done the dynamat and still had the resonance. i recently added a rubber spacer/bushing between the spring anchor and the exhaust pipe mount/anchor. this seems to have helped, it's not as bad as it once was, still there but no longer unbearable.

I did not, but I hear that it does help. I'm pretty happy with em the way they are.

i would expect about 2-3 hp gain with bullets if that is even measureable on a dyno so no gain

And magazines have NEVER been known to give good reiviews to advertisers' products....

Most dyno sheets I've seen show a minimal gain in hp, but they sound much better than stock.

I will just say this, If H.P. can be measured in decibels, then 10-12 is way shy. The sound is great and I am happy. I think I might even be willing to sacrifice 10-12 hp for the sound.

Love the bullets!

You might want to read the article before throwing stones. It's a pretty good article done at an independent speed shop in Florida. The same issue has a very interesting dyno comparison between a C6 and a C5 Z06.

The statement was in jest, lighten up. Car magazines are notorious in general for giving glowing reviews to new products from thier sponsors. Just poking fun.
