replacement foglights
i saw a c6 with these foglight bulbs that totally match the color of our xenons. does anyone know were i can purchase these bulbs?
also would you guys know if they come in yellow or not? thanks
just installed them and
these lights totally suck. they do not look anything like my xenons. they look exactly like the stock ones except brighter and more dull yellow. save your money and dont buy the hoen foglights.
your right i did order the wrong fog lamps. the new ones should arrive next week. hopefully they look good and i will stop bitching

Yes... have Hoen for high beams and driving (fog) lights..very much the match of the xenon head lights and a major improvement. Hoen sells the set (driving and high beams) at a discounted price...go to their web site

When you put in these higher performance bulbs do you also have to upgrade the
electrical system as well with realys thicker wiring etc. Or can you just plug em in as replacements and use the existing factory wiring set up?

These are yellow bulbs. I've never seen them in person though...Any daring soul want to give these bulbs a try?

Foglight replacement
Can anyone post a picture? Just wana see how it looks after replacing the foglights, i dont really switch my fog lights cuz it doesnt match my xenon lights, and im interested in replacing them.

In my 72 Coupe I put in Cibies and H-1 100 watt high beams with the factory wiring
Forget that it blew a fuse in a second when I switch to high beams (all 4 lights on). These are those quartz halogens headlights that have a superior lens and bulb back in the 80's.

So they are plug ins using the existing wiring of the C-6.

they suck
i just installed them and looked at them in the daylight and they dont look a thing like my xenons. but before i pass complete judgement i will look at them again at night. i can already tell that they have a yellowish tint to them that make them look cheap. im pissed. these are not the ones that i saw on that c6 i was talking about. they had no tint of yellow they were all blue..

what'd ya get? we have the hoens... "xenonmatch" i think is the series, anyway... i think those are great, and a perfect match for the lowbeams HID's.
during the day? i have no idea.. i don't run my headlights OR foglamps during the day. LOL

Fog lights should be yellow/amber. White light scatters too much in the fog and blinds you, defeating the purpose of fog lights.
